About The Event
This is an unveiling ceremony for the dedication of a Bronze Plaque honoring Manchester's First People. This discovery was made during an archaeological excavation of a Late Archaic Hunter-Gatherer Seasonal Rounds Site. Evidence was found of gathering foostuffs from 4,000 to 2,000 years before the present in Pine Valley Park. The event is sponsored by the Manchester Parks Foundation, Inc.
