About The Event

Archaeologists will lead a small group of kayakers on a tour through 10,000 years of history on Jug Bay! You will paddle by ancient Native campsites, Colonial towns, and War of 1812 shipwrecks and learn about the countless people who once lived on the shores of the Patuxent River. Some prior kayaking experience is helpful but not required. 

$25 Resident/$33 Non-Resident
