Come help us dig some shovel test pits! The Baltimore Community Archaeology Lab (BCAL) will be conducting a shovel test survey to determine the boundaries of the pre-contact Veterans Memorial Park site.

About The Event
Come help us dig some shovel test pits! The Baltimore Community Archaeology Lab (BCAL) will be conducting a shovel test survey to determine the boundaries of the pre-contact Veterans Memorial Park site. Registration is not required. Attendees can come for the whole 5 hours or just a portion of that time. Lunch will be provided by the North Point/Sparrows Point Historical Society from 12:00-1:30. Participants should wear sturdy, close-toed shoes, clothes they don't mind getting dirty, and sunscreen. Bring your own water bottle and water for refills will be available on site.
